August 1, 2020 – Drumline Blueprint, Drumline Chops, and percuss.io are proud to announce the formation of Ensemble Block, a technology and multimedia education company supporting teaching and learning in the fine arts.
In an effort to support teachers and students during this unprecedented time of distance learning, Ensemble Block was created to meet the demands of an ever-changing musical landscape highly dependent on teachers adopting new ways of leveraging technology to encourage positive student outcomes.
The launch of this newest venture is the culmination of our team’s extensive teaching and performance background, technological expertise in creating and organizing online educational videos, and forte in organizational infrastructure processes.
Ensemble Block now offers its services to institutions spanning the entire creation process of instructional videos: educational strategy, full production, and post-production workflow, a team of world-class teachers and performers, a suite of powerful multimedia learning tools, all to provide students and teachers with a secure and safe learning portal free of social media and other distractions.
Our launch coincides with the completion of six months of beta testing with various academic institutions around the United States, creating a range of educational videos across Brass, Woodwinds, Percussion, and Colorguard. The collaboration with such a generous community of experienced teaching practitioners has been immensely valuable as we continue our mission to help positively change how music and art are taught. We fully expect to create a lasting impact beyond the era of mandatory distance learning.
Moving forward, Drumline Blueprint will continue to operate and expand its well-established media and production team, overseeing the business and marketing operations of Ensemble Block. Concurrently, percuss.io will continue the integration of revolutionary notation-sync technology, and pioneer new resources to facilitate user learning experiences. drumlinechops.com will continue to exist as a subsidiary brand of Ensemble Block and service B2C percussion centered content.
